There is so much to see and do in the area, why not shop at the Bideford or Torrington Pannier Markets, grab a coffee in one of the many cafes, or catch a show at The Plough Arts Centre in Torrington. Visit the famous Dartington Crystal (3.5 miles) and the beautiful Royal Horticultural Society gardens at Rosemoor (4.9 miles). Play golf at a local course (4 miles), or head to the pretty fishing quayside village of Appledore. Just 5 miles away is the pretty village of Instow which is perfect for beach lovers and water enthusiasts alike, whilst also providing some fabulous local shops, café’s and fine eateries too. Or the beach resort of Westward Ho! is just over 6 miles, where you have 3 miles of glorious sand and rock pools to explore.
Approach the cottage through the garden and come in through the front door, where you are greeted by the cosy lounge with exposed beams and a fireplace with a wood burner, comfy seating and Smart TV, and a small desk and chair in the far corner allows you to catch up on work or emails if you need to. The kitchen/diner can be found through the lounge door, and this offers everything you could need to cater for your stay with a convenient dining table and chairs making mealtimes a breeze. A door leads out from this area to a small yard with seating which is great for sundowners, plus there is an outside tap and hose ideal for washing off sandy paws or rinsing out wetsuits etc. Heading back through to the lounge and before the staircase is the ground floor bathroom. The stairs rise to the first floor and the two bedrooms, both have Smart TV’s and Velux windows. There is one bedroom with king size bed, and an en-suite WC and one twin room.
The main garden is fully enclosed and has a patio area to make the most of sunny days, as well as a large lawned area ideal for games. Garden furniture and loungers are provided as is a charcoal BBQ.
