This property is situated a mile from the popular village of Swimbridge, where visitors will find a lovely pub serving food. Landkey village is 3 miles away and also has a pub as well as a shop with a post office. Beach lovers will enjoy Saunton (13 miles), Instow (14 miles), Westward Ho! (15 miles), and Croyde (16 miles). Take advantage of superb walking on Exmoor National Park, as well as the South West Coast Path and the Tarka Trail, all close by. South Molton is 7.5 miles away with its twice-weekly Pannier Market, and Barnstaple is 5.5 miles away and offers a weekly Pannier Market and many high street brands. The ‘little white town’ of Bideford (14 miles) is also worth a visit - hop on the Oldenburg and enjoy a boat trip to Lundy Island.

This immaculate loft conversion has been stylishly furnished and is a perfect bolthole to get away from it all. Upon entering this beautiful property, you are greeted by a small but perfectly equipped kitchen with an electric counter induction 2-ring hob, air fryer, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, and a coffee machine, perfect for cooking a lazy breakfast in bed or a light supper. Head upstairs to the lounge/diner where you can enjoy the countryside views. Comfortable seating allows you to relax and maybe watch a movie on the Smart TV whilst enjoying a tasty meal and a bottle of wine. Head into the king-size bedroom which has a modern and contemporary shower room with a shower and a WC completes the accommodation. Via the King-size bedroom you reach the private balcony with beautiful countryside views, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a spot of star gazing.

There are sloping ceilings upstairs, which is all part of the charm and character of this wonderful property.

Outside, there is a secluded seating area with garden furniture where a spot of al fresco dining and a glass of wine can be enjoyed under the star-filled skies. Guests will have access to the plant room where there is room to store muddy boots after a countryside walk.

A lovely cottage within beautiful grounds, and being fairly new, everything was still in perfect condition. Access is via tight lanes, so be careful driving! We did find the downstairs kitchen rather cramped but in fairness we did know in advance, though the photos did make it look a little bigger. Upside-down houses aren't for everyone and our dogRead moregy did find it a little odd! But we had a lovely stay. What a wonderful, peaceful location! It was the perfect base for our day trips we never had to travel more than 45 minutes to get anywhere. Very friendly and welcoming owners, and very helpful. The cottage was very clean, cosy and comfortable. The setting was amazing, grounds well tended, lots of wildlife. A truly fabulous week, with lots of interesting areas to visit.

Beautiful location, owners friendly and helpful. Lovely cream tea on arrival. Had a very relaxing week but, unfortunately, the weather wasn't great so we didn't get to see as much of the area as we would have liked.

The Loft was very comfortable, clean and quite. The location was gorgeous with lovely countryside views. Jo and Andrew were very welcoming and gave some recommendations of where to go in the local area. We would visit again!

The loft is beautiful to look at (inside and out) but not practical for a weeks stay. lacking in kitchen equipment and storage to put your clothes, my partner and I had 5 hangers on a short rail to hang all of our clothes. This is a good location if you want to unwind. If you want to explore beaches and areas of local interest, be prepared to traveRead morel at least 30mins and a time. Im not sure if this was out of character, but we did find the hosts rude We decided to leave a day early. Hide

Amazing property and a beautiful area to stay. Was truly made to feel at home, with all the comforts this barn has to offer along with the finishing touches from the owners with cream tea scones and the comfy soft blankets for cold evenings out on the balcony.

We have a lovely week, Jo & Andrew were very helpful when we were planning are visits each day. The cottage was stunning with all the house hold items & utensils you would need for a week's stay. The scenery was picturesque set in the green countryside. We would recommend this cottage holiday & look forward to returning again.
