Our stay at Little Barn was everything we had hoped it would be, such a peaceful retreat from everyday modern life. The wood burner kept us cosy at night and the bed was the best ever. Paula and James were very friendly and made us feel very welcome, scones jam and cream on arrival was much appreciated. We didn't want leave.

This cottage was ok but there were several cleanliness issues and the cottage was a lot smaller than the photos - very compact and very dark downstairs. In the kitchen, there was an overly used dirty scourer and half a toilet roll in the bathroom which immediately was off-putting. The dishwasher had left over food in it, the pans, glasses and cutleRead morery were dirty and there was half a bottle of milk in the fridge. Not entirely sure why none of this was checked during the changeover. The sofa was very small and uncomfortable barely fitting two people. We also weren't comfortable with the camera constantly watching the cottage as we felt like we were being watched. The upstairs room was nice, spacious and light however. Overall, it was a nice location as there were lots of dog walks and Dulverton is lovely but the cottage itself was too small for 2 people and a dog and the general hygiene made us feel uncomfortable so we won't be returning.
