An amazing find, what a fantastic place to stay. The house is spacious and comfortable, the location is brilliant for the town and yet you feel as though you are in a remote location with the river and distant hills visible from the garden. We spent so much time over breakfast in the garden, watching the birds darting and looking at the green hilRead morelside. Superb too for access to Pen y Fan, just a 15 minute drive to get to the car park. We didn't want to go home when the time came to leave, I can see us coming back, I can understand the previous reviewer who had been five times. Hide

Short walk into town. Easy to drive to ,other locations, without always going through town. We were not short of any equipment . Our son and daughter could wash cycling and walking clothes.

A special house with an interesting history. The location was ideal for the town, yet we had stunning views of the countryside and the river. The house was kitted out with everything we could ask for. We would definitely recommend.

Quiet location with a short stroll across the river bridge into the town was very useful leaving the car parked at the house. Recommend the Art gallery and library, the heritage trail, Cathedral and canalside walk.

This was our fourth stay at 'Dinas Lodge' and we still love it as much as on our first visit. The location is perfect - on the edge of Brecon but within a couple of minutes walk to the centre. The house is spacious and very comfortable and we spent a lot of time if the huge and beautifully maintained garden - thanks to Duncan!. The River Usk alongsRead moreide offers lovely walks, as does the footpath on the other side of the house. We'll probably return for a fifth time next year to 'our' Dinas Lodge. Hide
