The popular seaside town offers beautiful gardens, an array of cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops and access to the South West Coast Path. Sidmouth is a perfect getaway to explore the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, where you can sit on perfect beaches at the foot of pre-historic red cliffs, created some 240 million years ago. Long sandy beaches are within a light stroll, or if you fancy a change of scene the popular beaches of Beer, Branscombe, Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth and Lyme Regis with its fossil hunting are within a short drive. Local attractions include Crealy Great Adventure Park, Bicton Gardens, The Caves at Beer, The Donkey Sanctuary and many more. There are also numerous golf courses locally.

Upon entering this delightful detached property, you are greeted with a light and airy hallway, a useful space to hang coats or store sandy shoes after a day on the beach. From here enter the first of the two lounges where you can relax on the comfy sofas while watching your favourite programme on the Smart TV. Directly opposite this room is the open-plan lounge/diner which boasts a wood burner effect heater set in a feature fireplace, perfect for those cooler months. This room also benefits from a Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, a barista coffee machine and dishwasher, which is perfect for trying out new recipes or old family favourites. There is also a useful utility cupboard within the kitchen which has a washing machine. On this level you will also find a bathroom with a walk in shower. Heading up the stairs to the first floor where there are four bedrooms the first is a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request), the second is perfect for a family with a king-size bed and bunk beds, the third is a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with en-suite Jack and Jill bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC (also accessed via the hallway) and the fourth bedroom is a single. There is also a further bathroom with a shower over hip bath and WC.

Venturing outside there is an enclosed garden with a patio and seating, it makes a perfect spot to enjoy a charcoal BBQ or a place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Off-road parking for three cars can be found at the front of the property.

Beautiful house in perfect position. Spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. Maxine was so helpful making sure we were happy with our stay and gave us some lovely walks in the area. Definitely recommend

This was a perfect holiday home for a group 6 - 77 year olds! No one wanted to return home and all agreed that there was no way that Regency House could be improved, We all loved it.

Delightful spacious house in an excellent position in Sidmouth. Loved everything about the property which was home for three generations of my family for a week. Special mention also for the excellent bathrooms, the drying room and the fully enclosed garden which was ideal for our small dog. This house is excellent, large rooms, comfortable beds, well equipped and a great location. My only gripe would be that it's advertised with an EV charging point. When we booked in I didn't remember seeing that a charge was to be paid locally if you wanted to use it. (this I thought was excessive for our usage). A really great house for our multigenerational holiday! The house is clean and warm and well equipped and only a 5 minute walk to the seafront. In fact we liked it so much we have already booked another stay!

Very spacious and comfortable. Well equipped with everything one could possibly need. We had a lovely week catching up with old friends and going back to our favourite places. Would definitely like to return.

Regency house was a delightful place to stay. The accommodation was faultless, you had everything you needed and more.
