The World Heritage stannery town of Tavistock is within easy reach and offers a historic pannier market, boutique shops and plenty of cafes. Head south to Plymouth which offers an array of amenities. There are plenty of great walks and cycle rides to be had in the area or visit family attractions nearby including Pennywell Farm, Southwest Segway, Woodlands family theme park and The Dartmoor Mystery Treasure Trail. The National Trust property Buckland Abbey is also a short drive from the property and well worth a visit, or head further afield to Plymouth Gin or Sharpham Vineyard for something a little different.
On entering this remarkable single-storey property you are greeted by the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is the perfect back drop for catching up whilst cooking up a storm in the kitchen area. The kitchen area offers an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and a dishwasher. The fabulous lounge area allows you to sit back and relax amongst the rich, soft furnishings and watch your favourite programme on the TV or just enjoy a chat. After a long day, head down the hall where you will find the two beautifully dressed bedrooms. There is a double bedroom with en-suite wet-room style shower and WC and a spacious twin bedroom a zip and link (which can be made up as a super king-size on request), which has an en-suite bathroom with hand held shower over bath and WC.
Outside you have the choice of two spaces to enjoy, at the front of the property is a private South facing decked area with garden furniture and the rear garden which has a lawn area with patio and seating. A charcoal BBQ is also on offer for you to enjoy on a summers evening. The indoor heated pool is located 50 yards from the property, this area also includes the massage room, summer kitchen, WC and a shower. There is also hard standing space available for boats and a public slipway located a short drive from the property with access to Plymouth Sound.
