Just a short drive from the coast you will be able to enjoy the spectacular towering cliffs, rocky shorelines and long stretches of sandy beaches that the area is famed for. Nearby Westward Ho! offers keen surfers, body boarders and families, two miles of golden sands to enjoy, while the quaint fishing villages of Clovelly and Appledore are also worth a visit. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy walking along the South West Coast Path, taking in spectacular Hartland Quay on route, and exploring inland via the ever popular Tarka Trail. The town of Bideford is also nearby offering ample choice of supermarkets, pubs and restaurants as well as a bustling high street. Other attractions and places of interest easily accessible from here include RHS Rosemoor, Tapeley Park, Dartington Crystal, Exmoor and Dartmoor National Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep.

The cottage was lovely as were the owners. There was everything we needed. The back garden was very secure for the dogs. Would happily stay there again.

Lovely cottage very comfortable and sparkling clean. We ate in most nights and the kitchen was very well equipped plus a dishwasher so no washing up. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend for anyone wanting a holiday with their dogs

Beautiful cottage. Very clean and all open plan with a lovely well-equipped kitchen. Lovely spacious bedrooms and bathroom with walk- in shower. Perfect for dogs (enclosed garden). Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Great base to travel to Clovelly, Westward Ho, Appledore and some beautiful dog friendly beaches.

Lovely cottage for a short break in Devon. Very well-equipped and perfect of you are bringing dogs. The cottage is more spacious than I think the images do justice and it is well-equipped with almost everything you might need for a short stay. The small patio and enclosed garden to the rear of the property were perfect for letting the dogs out in tRead morehe morning and evening, whilst the larger shared spaces were good for a quick runaround. Really comfortable, spacious and well-equipped cottage. Light, airy and beautifully furnished. Having an enclosed patio space was great, but access to the larger garden also super helpful with 2 dogs. Only 35 mins from Westward Ho! which was brilliant (this time will reduce I'm guessing once the all the road closures for pothole repairs completed!)Read more. Would definitely consider coming back!
