This architect-designed barn welcomes up to ten guests, and contemporary in style with open-plan living space that lends well for entertaining. It’s pet friendly and boasts a private hot tub and pool table. Set deep in the Welsh countryside, though just 9 miles from the vibrant market town of Builth Wells, renowned for the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, you’ll never be too far away from seclusion or a bustling town. There is plenty to see and do for groups wanting to embrace the rugged landscapes. From the front door, you can join the local footpaths, and just 5 miles into Garth, you can explore the Woodlands Trust Garth Bank. For a more challenging climb, the Epynt Way and visitors centre is just 8 miles away where you can enjoy panoramic views. The Elan Valley (17 miles) is great for adventure, welcoming walkers, cyclists and scrambling enthusiasts. The Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains are also within 20 miles.

Set within a cluster of farm cottages and surrounded by sympathetically landscaped grounds and breathtaking views across the countryside, you’ll know you’ve made the right decision as oon as you arrive. The barn has been recently renovated offering an open-plan ground floor that is perfect for spending time together. The main living space enjoys natural light from the many doors and windows; a spacious lounge room with a large Smart TV and comfortable leather sofas is great for an evening of relaxation. For the competitive amongst you, a pool table takes centre stage, also cleverly designed for dining with a tabletop. The kitchen is cool and contemporary offering everything a group may need for preparing larger meals, and an island is the perfect place for a morning coffee. Steps lead down to a utility area with a WC, a washing machine and additional storage. From the lounge, a small hallway offers access to three bedrooms, all generously sized. A super-king-size zip-and-link (that can be made into twin beds at the time of booking), a king-size and a super-king-size with an en-suite shower and WC. There is a ground-floor bathroom with a separate double shower, bath and WC. A staircase leads up to an open landing with seating and stunning views, and two further bedrooms both king-size with en-suite showers and WCs.

Outside, there are multi-level landscaped grounds with a patio area, a place for summer dining and utilising the Hot tub and relaxing outdoors.

We went away for some peace and quiet and thats exactly what we got. Plenty of room for our party of ten and beds were really comfortable. Views from the hot tub were beautiful. Loved our stay here and Jill and Ian were very helpful. Thanks guys.

Barn was in a great location if you were happy to travel to get to places . nice and quite had everything you needed with an added bonus of a hot tub . Elan valley reservoirs is worth a visit

Barn is lovely.. . very spacious inside and out, with all you needful for a comfortable stay. Hot tub, pool table, table tennis table and the views are an added bonus. What a beautiful barn conversion in a fabulous location. There is lots to do if you like to explore and equally staying in the house was very relaxing with wonderful views, an excellent outdoor space and hot tub.. We wouldnt hesitate to return.

We had a wonderful stay, despite the storm and power cut. The barn is absolutely beautiful, and so spacious! There was 10 of us adults, a baby and a large dog. Its breathtaking when you walk in a real wow factor! We will be returning and if youre on the fence, then go for it you wont regret it. The owners are so very helpful

What a holiday cottage! Nested in the peace and quiet of the Welsh countryside, this barn was a (luxury) home from home. Incredible living space with TV area, dining/games table and kitchen all in one. The bedrooms are set in another wing of the property so people going to bed early aren't disturbed by the noise in the barn area. Incredibly family Read morefriendly and the hot tub was a treat, especially at night under the stars. Dog throughly enjoyed the outside space to stretch her legs. Hide

Fantastic stay. Minor issue when we first arrived but owners were quick to respond (despite being on holiday themselves) and they went out of their way to make sure everything was in order and that we enjoyed our stay. Really nice location for exploring Wales and plenty of things to do within a 30-40 minute drive. All I can say is BOOK NOW - Llwyngwrgan Barn is so special and in the most beautifully quiet spot, a real haven for wildlife and bird spotting, the hot tub was a real treat for all ages. We were a four generation family getting away for a special birthday, the week had beautiful weather for us to explore the area and have lovely pub lunches and walRead moreks. The barn has a fabulous layout, Three ensuite bedrooms, open plan entertaining area and a fab cinema sized TV for movie night. 5 stars incredible! Hide
