Lovely cottage, lovely owners and a really quiet location. Would be fabulous in the sunshine but unfortunately rained the whole time we were there which is the risk you take holidaying at home at this time of year.

Glens Cottage proved to be the perfect last minute getaway we needed! A warm, cosy and comfortable home from home that was perfect to return to after a long day . The location was perfect for exploring the Peak District and although the farm itself is very rural, the nearest supermarkets, pubs and cafes are just a short and picturesque drive away. We would like to give a huge thanks to the owners for making our stay at Glen's Cottage so comfortable a few weeks ago. The cottage is really lovely with everything you need, and the welcome pack was a really nice touch and very much appreciated. It even has a car charger, which we used to great effect during our stay. It's location is beautifully Read morerural and the surrounding countryside is quite breathtaking. A gorgeous few days getaway in this beautiful little cottage away from the noise of the daily life. It was so peaceful and cosey, we walked, and ate dinner by the fire each evening. Our golden retriever loved it too! Lovely helpful hosts, would definitely visit again x

Glens Cottage is a fantastic place to stay from which to explore the beautiful Peak District. Perfectly situated for a 'get away from it all' break, but still within easy reach of the local village of Longnor and the town of Buxton a few miles away. This was the perfect place to explore such a beautiful part of England from. I can't fault anything about the property or the wonderful hosts. We're new to having an electric car so the charger just outside the cottage alleviated any range anxiety that we might have had and was a great touch.
