Within 20 miles visit Matlock Bath's Little Switzerland gorge, Peak Rail's steam trains puffing along the Derwent Valley and the National Tramway Museum for fun for the whole family. However, remember to leave some time aside to enjoy Chatsworth House and gardens (22 miles) or experience heart-stopping thrills on the latest rides at Alton Towers, 14 miles away.
From the front door entrance, take a couple of steps down into the lounge with its homely wooden flooring, comfortable seating and Smart TV - the perfect place to put your feet up with a good book after a day of exploring the area. Wander through to the spacious kitchen/diner which offers everything you need to rustle up a hearty meal during your stay, including electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave, with a door leading out to the courtyard garden. Come together around the spacious dining table and plan the day’s activities. Head upstairs where you will find two bright and airy bedrooms: a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both offering a pleasant space to get a good night’s rest. You will also find a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.
Outside, the enclosed courtyard provides an ideal spot for a morning coffee or for dining alfresco on a summer’s evening. There is on-street parking to the front of the cottage, subject to availability.
