The village of Llangorse sits deep within the Brecon Beacons National Park, a well-served village with local shop and village inns. The area is perfect for outdoor pursuits where you can hire a rowing boat, kayak, Canadian canoe, pedalo, stand up Paddle Board or fishing boat and go boating on Llangorse Lake the largest natural lake in South Wales. A wealth of walking whether you chose to follow the rivers and miles of canal-side scenic pathways or enjoy the hilltop views. There are activity centres that offer kayaking, climbing, mountain biking and horse riding throughout the area. For the more easy-going guests there are some lovely market towns such as Hay-on-Wye the town of books, Crickhowell and Brecon, all within easy reach.
