The cottage sits on the banks of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal** as it winds south to the charming village of Talybont-on-Usk, 1 mile away. Thanks to the river, canal, and reservoir, this area has a dreamy atmosphere. There are plenty of boat-watching and waterside strolls to inspire you, and friendly local pubs and restaurants where you can while the afternoon away. Or, for a more adventurous jaunt, head to the peaks of the Brecon Beacons. The height of South Wales, Pen y Fan, is just waiting to be climbed 9 miles away. A pair of Ospreys have nested in the area and these can often be seen gliding in the air from Forge Cottage gardens.

There are three: a twin, single and a double, each dressed with cottage charm. The family bathroom is on the first floor with a further shower room with WC located on the ground floor.
