It’s a perfect space for socializing and enjoying meals together, equipped with everything needed to prepare delicious meals, including an electric oven, a five-ring hob, and a dining table that comfortably seats eight. JRR Tolkein fans may be interested to know of Buckland Cottage's links where Tolkien was thought to have stayed in nearby Talybont-on-Usk and Frodo was born in Buckland and returned there at the end of the book. But Tolkien didn’t just use the name, Buckland can clearly be seen on maps of the Shire (with Crickhollow to the east of it) and the map’s topography is very similar to that of the Buckland Estate. When they made the film, the researchers visited the Buckland Estate with great interest and Tolkien's granddaughter has stayed at Buckland Cottage.
