Stroll out directly from the property and explore the town of Bideford which offers access to the Tarka Trail, a pretty park, great selection of independent shops, and boat trips from the historic quayside to Lundy Island. Alternatively jump in the car or on a local bus and head into the quaint fishing village of Appledore, home to a number of small craft shops, friendly local pubs and restaurants with fresh seafood always on the menu, or Westward Ho!, boasting two miles of golden sandy beach. Conveniently placed within close proximity of the A39 you will also be within easy reach of Clovelly, Instow, Royal North Devon Golf Club, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, The Big Sheep, Tapeley Park and National Trust's Arlington Court.

This superb property is accessed via a rear private entrance on a quiet back street which then takes you up an internal flight of stairs into the heart of the apartment. Head towards the light and the front of the property where the accommodation firstly opens up into an impressively spacious open-plan living area. This brilliantly sociable room comprises a lounge, kitchen and dining area, and the fabulous high windows provide lovely views of the river. The river view lounge area provides the perfect place to relax in style and boasts a contemporary electric fire and a Smart TV with full Sky TV package, there is also a Sonos sound system and from here a set of bi-folding doors open onto the contemporary enclosed terrace. Located back towards the kitchen and windows a sophisticated dining area offers comfortable seating for all plus a fun bar that you can stock with your favourite drinks. The outside space at the apartment comprises the lovely contemporary enclosed terrace which is accessed via the lounge area and offers comfortable rattan furniture. Here you can enjoy a morning coffee or an early evening drink in the fresh air without having to venture further afield. It’s also worth noting that even though this doesn’t include any grass, pet owners can access public green and outside spaces a short stroll away along the river. Private designated off-road parking for five cars is located a five minute stroll away, and it is also possible to drive outside the property early morning and from late afternoon.

We had a fantastic xmas staying here. We were 2 families of 4 so 8 people in total. The pictures dont do the size of this place justice, it's massive so cosy and decorated lovely throughout. I've never stay somewhere where its been so well equipped and clean. Would highly recommend . Only downside where the mattresses where way to soft for all of uRead mores. Hide

Our stay at the Quay Loft was excellent! The place was clean, had all the facilities that we needed (and more), and was a great place for a group of 7 to use as a base for a getaway. A super luxury apartment in the middle of town which is a great base for seeing the area by car or public transport. Plent of walking in the area with the Tarka trail on the doorstep. Free parking for more than one car is very useful.

Quay Loft exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful apartment, really spacious, convivial and perfect for a large group or family. Finished to a high spec, it had everything we needed and more. Spent an excellent week at Quay Loft. Loved the apartment. Was amazingly equipped. Our only suggestion would be to have electric toothbrush chargers in the bathroom.

Lovely modern apartment! We stayed as a group of 4 couples and had a great time. The open-plan kitchen/living area was perfect for socialising, even while cooking. Well-equipped with everything from board games to a cocktail station. Spacious rooms, most with en-suites, and very comfy beds. Great location too everything was within a short drive. Absolutely fabulous apartment, one of the best we have stayed in. Great location overlooking the estuary and central to Bideford town. We really enjoyed our stay.

A beautifully decorated apartment with all the amenities you could possibly need. The space was so open and the large sofa and table meant everyone was very comfortable. It's also in a fantastic location if you're wanting to visit Bideford, the shops are a couple of minutes away and the Tarka trail is just across the bridge.

The loft apartment was excellent. Lovely open space kitchen, dining area and sitting room. Lots of room for kids to run about and there are games for them to play. Had all the mod-cons you could hope for. Its just a short drive to Westward Ho beach and Victoria Park has a lovely playground for kids. I found the mattress a bit soft for my preferenceRead more but then thats just me. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this to any who like the idea of a loft apartment. Hide
