Neighbouring Litton offers a perfect excuse for a nice stroll up the hill, through farmland and pastures; you are rewarded with the public house to quench your thirst. By car, Mam Tor and Castleton are only a few miles away, with the spa town of Buxton and the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire’s Chatsworth House being just a short drive. Famous for the fine church dedicated to St John the Baptist, 'The Cathedral of the Peak' sits just behind this property and is well worth a visit.
