Well positioned within the heart of the village within walking distance of the local Inn, award winning village store and 12th century Norman Castle. This peaceful part of the National Park offers some of the best walking within the area from your doorstep, explore the Black Mountains and join the Offa’s Dyke pathway where you can follow the ridge all the way across to the Hay Bluff. The perfect base for exploring the market towns of Abergavenny with regular farmers market and food festival, Crickhowell nestled within the Usk Valley and Hay-on-Wye with an eclectic range of book shops all celebrating the book festivals throughout the year. Make the most of the Herefordshire countryside and follow the Great Cider Route or join in the many local produce festivals.

Step under the oak framed porch to remove your boots and step inside, the entrance hall with wooden floors and fresh flowers on the hall table offer a friendly welcome. A large lounge sits to the side of the hall, the wood burner is waiting to be lit and takes centre stage with sofas that you can simply sink into and relax after a day exploring and catch up on your favourite programmes on the TV. Leading on from the lounge is a new sun room where you can enjoy the views and weather throughout the year curled up with a book. A snug is situated to the other side of the hall creating the perfect space for movie night on the Smart TV/DVD or a hideaway with a good book. The kitchen/diner is the hub of this country home with solid wood farmhouse cupboards and well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A large table finishes the room, inviting for any special occasion. There is a lobby off the kitchen with space for coats and boots along with a utility room equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a separate WC off the main hallway. So, when the day is done climb the solid wooden staircase to the spacious landing with colourful woollen rugs, you will find three bedrooms. There is a super-king-size enjoying a solid wooden sleigh bed with views onto the lane with an en-suite shower room with WC enjoying views across to the mountain range. Another super-king-size with solid wooden sleigh bed with a dual aspect enjoying great views and an en-suite shower room and WC, and finally a twin zip and link, which can be made into a Super King Size on request).You will be sleeping on high quality vispring mattresses to ensure a good night's. There is also a bathroom with separate shower and WC on this floor.

Step outside and enjoy the views, the home is surrounded by mature gardens and enjoys an open aspect to the front. To the rear a private area where you can soak within the hot tub. There is a patio with seating for six, along with a games room where you can set up your own table tennis tournament or try your luck at table football, this room has French doors opening onto the patio. There is off road parking for three cars and an EV charger is available on the owner's land, 1.5 miles away from the property - please ask owner for location if required.

What a holiday, what a house! From the moment we walked in, it felt like our house. I can't think of another holiday home where we were so comfortable, feeling so at home. The welcome package was delicious, the house had everything we needed, and the sunroom was a dream spot. And such a helpful owner! We forgot some items, and it was no trouble Read moreto ship them back to us. Within a few days, they had been posted. I can't thank them enough. The garden, the area, the friendly locals! We would love to come back one day and discover more walks, villages and views. It has been breathtakingly beautiful. Highly recommend this house. What a wonderful house! It really does have it all and exceeded our expectations. The house is full of light and very homely. A beautiful house set in a lovely location, the perfect setting for a celebration weekend. We found Tri-Afron to have all the space and facilities we needed. This is a really lovely cosy cottage with a great ambience. Good location for walks across the fields and it was handy having a local shop nearby . We thoroughly enjoyed our New Year week .

Tri Afon was perfect for our family to celebrate our son's 30th. Beautiful house, tastefully decorated in keeping with the style. It has lots of space but retains a lovely cosy feel. Absolutely lovely house in a great location, felt at home from the minute we arrived. Had everything you could want, the hot tub was a real treat and a great games room for an evening or rainy day of fun. 2 minutes walk from the pub and 2 to the shop which had everything. 10 mins walk to the old castle. A comfortable and spotlessly clean house. Everything, and more was provided for a relaxing and easy stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage. My family and I had a relaxing and very enjoyable time. The lovely and very tasty welcome gifts were such a nice surprise when we arrived and it set the tone for a perfect week. Absolutely lovely accommodation. Really enjoyed it. My only observation is that there is nowhere in the en-suites to put your toiletries.
