Lovely cottage, chosen for location central to 11 museums, a heritage railway, a rose growers farm and a friend's home, all of which we wanted to visit. It fulfilled our every wish as such a base, we saw all the museums, etc., and although there were a small number of very tiny niggles with the cottage (e.g. no washing up liquid) overall it was excRead moreellent value for money and well worth the stay. Well appointed, spacious, nicely located cottage. Private and sheltered outside space which we would have made more use of had weather been better! Short walk to the owners' pub, where meals and drinks were excellent, and local people friendly.
