Charming cottage on three floors within moments of Brecon. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped, we spent a lovely and comfortable time here. I would add that if you have mobility issues, this property might not be for you, due to the access on a hill with cobbles, and the layout over 3 floors.

Beautiful cottage, very well equiped. Lovely location with the canal close by., Perfect for our 2 dogs as a pretty river walk 2 minutes from the cottage. Brecon town is attractive, with the canal close by.

Lovely big warm kitchen/diner with room around a table for 6 (though we were just 4 adults), but if you're really into cooking, as we were, maybe consider bringing a large saucepan or two suitable for induction cooker The sitting room is well-thought out, with seating for different kinds of activities, and the decor includes fun and exciting coloRead moreur combinations (without making the room too cluttered or fussy). I'm highly sensitive to colour and textures so I was really relieved that the whole house was decorated tastefully. The bathroom is lovely with a huge skylight and plants and a choice of shower or cast iron bath. The uneven stone stairs were a bit of a challenge for us elderly folk and our son and his friend with dyspraxia and cerebral palsy, but we were warned about this. Top tip: use the wall to lean on at the top when you are coming down the stairs and go slowly and concentrate. Hide

We had a wonderful Christmas week in this cosy cottage in a great central but quiet location a few minutes walk to interesting shops, cafes and pubs in Brecon and moments from a wonderful wooded riverside walk along the Honddu river. The cottage is nicely furnished inside and the Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. The only downsides I wouldRead more say are that the single beds are quite narrow (2'6") more suited to children than adults and the stairs up to the top floor are steep and angled. Hide

We absolutely loved our week in the cottage - it's full of charm and character and Hannah has furnished it to a high standard. There was a mix-up (not the owner's fault) with the booking schedule and she had to rush over to clean it after we arrived but it was all sorted quickly and the agent agreed to compensation for the inconvenience. The bed waRead mores extremely comfortable, the wood burner was a plus with the chilly September evenings and Brecon is a wonderful base to explore this part of Wales Hide

Great place. I'd recommend. Beautiful cottage and lovely location. The single beds aren't comfortable, so just beware of that. Otherwise I can't fault it.

We had a great stay. An amazing location with a lovely dog walk from the front door -just turn right at the bottom of the steps and over the footbridge, great Indian takeaway nearby and Morrisons just round the corner. The cottage was lovely and tranquil, with lots of thoughtful touches. It felt like a home from home.

Lovely place to stay, spotlessly clean and cosy, thoughtfully decorated with everything we needed to self-cater. Quiet and not overlooked, but very central position, so easy to access river walks and the town for supplies. A perfect peaceful base.

A really warm cosy cottage in a charming location. It is recently renovated to a high standard. We spent the new year cold snap here enjoying the frosts and the snow. Very well located to walk into Brecon for the shops and Pubs. Equally easy to get into the mountains for a hike. We are hoping to come back soon..

Brecon is a lovely town and this is a lovely cottage with beautiful decor, but probably not suitable for people with serious mobility issues because of the steps outside (which are shown clearly on the photos) and the two flights of narrow, twisty stairs inside. It was warm and cosy - we thoroughly enjoyed our winter stay.
