This is a cosy, dog-friendly cottage on the Isle of Wight, welcoming a group of five. Enjoy scenic coastal walks or try out new activities before spending relaxing evenings at this retreat together. Shanklin is a traditional, Victorian seaside resort; the golden sands and traditional seafront are just a short stroll away, perfect for beach days and scenic coastal walks. The property is within easy reach of the town’s charming Old Village, known for its thatched cottages, tea rooms and independent boutiques, and Shanklin Chine (0.5 miles) is a luscious green area with waterfalls. Visit Sandown (3 miles) where you can hire kayaks and stand-up paddleboards or explore the classic amusement pier. The picturesque coastal town of Ventnor (3.5 miles) is well worth a visit. Alternatively, enjoy a fun family day out at Dinosaur Isle and Wildheart Animal Sanctuary (4 miles) or Robin Hill Country Park (6 miles).

Leave your walking boots or beach shoes in the hallway and head through to the bright and airy living space. To one side is a stylish kitchen which has everything you need to create delicious dinners or prepare picnics for your days out. In the lounge, you can curl up on the sofa in front of the flame effect electric fire and watch your favourite shows on the Smart TV. A handy dining table provides a space for you to play board games and plan days ahead. As night draws in, climb the stairs and find the two bedrooms offering flexible sleeping arrangements: a double bedroom, or a room with a bunk bed which has a double bed and a single over the top. A family bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Leading from the living space is a large balcony, which stretches across the back of the property and has seating where you can overlook the luscious surrounds while sipping on a morning coffee. There is private parking for one car. Directly opposite is a wonderful green space/park.
