Tucked along a peaceful countryside lane near Havenstreet, this delightful, detached annexe is set within the grounds of the owner’s beautiful farmhouse and makes an excellent base for exploring the Isle of Wight. You’ll be ideally placed to enjoy some of the Island’s best-loved attractions. The Garlic Farm (2.5 miles) is just a short drive away, offering a renowned farm shop, restaurant and seasonal events. Nearby Havenstreet is home to the beautifully preserved Isle of Wight Steam Railway (0.5 miles), where you can step back in time and enjoy a nostalgic journey through unspoilt countryside. The golden sands of Appley Beach are approximately 2.5 miles away, while the vibrant seaside town of Ryde (3 miles) offers boutique shops, independent eateries and scenic coastal walks.

As you approach along the quiet countryside lane and pass through the welcoming gate, you’ll spot the annexe, which is detached from the main farmhouse. Step inside and you are greeted by a beautifully renovated open-plan lounge and kitchen space, thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. Exposed beams add warmth and character, blending seamlessly with the stylish furnishings and modern finishes. After a day of exploring, relax on the comfortable seating and enjoy your favourite programme on the Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything you need for your stay, whether you’re preparing a leisurely breakfast before heading out or cooking a romantic evening meal. A staircase with 12 steps leads to the first floor, where the inviting super king-size bedroom awaits. This flexible room can be arranged as a twin upon request and offers a peaceful setting for a restful night’s sleep. French doors open to a Juliet-style balcony, allowing you to throw them open and take in the far-reaching countryside views from the comfort of your room. The stylish shower room, complete with WC, is beautifully designed with contemporary fittings.

Step outside to your private wooden seating area, perfect for al fresco dining, or relax on the rattan seating and soak in the peaceful rural surroundings. Guests have access to the green spaces and nearby fields, perfect for stretching your legs and soaking up the peaceful countryside setting. Such an amazing experience to stay at Pondcast. The cottage offers a 5 star experience, with warm and friendly hosts who exceed in providing bespoke hospitality. The location is perfect complete with dawn chorus and amazing views across the countryside. This was the ideal holiday cottage for us. It is very well equipped and comfortable with a great many thoughtful touches that make Pondcast feel like home-from-home. Being located just outside Ryde, it is ideal for all the major tourist attractions.

A wonderful cottage to stop in , perfect for 2 . Everything was brand new and a real home from home . Rebecca and Andy are next door and nothing was too much trouble .
