A stay at this holiday home in Hawes, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, puts friends and family right in the centre of one of England’s most picturesque market towns. A few hundred metres from your door, you’ll find cobbled streets lined with independent shops, traditional pubs and a bustling market, perfect for a leisurely morning wander. For a taste of local heritage, visit the Dales Countryside Museum, which brings the area’s farming and rural history to life, or visit the Wensleydale Creamery to see how the region’s famous cheese is made. Hardraw Force (2 miles) is England’s highest single-drop waterfall, while Aysgarth Falls (10 miles) offers a series of stunning cascades surrounded by scenic walking trails. History buffs can explore Castle Bolton (13 miles), a striking medieval fortress, while Leyburn (16 miles) provides charming streets, shops and cafes for a relaxed afternoon wander.

Enter through the hallway, then head into a cosy lounge, where plush seating and a wood burner create a welcoming spot to gather after a day roaming the Dales. Nearby, the well-equipped kitchen/diner includes an additional sofa, making it a sociable area for cooking and chatting. A handy cloakroom completes the ground floor. Upstairs, two king-size bedrooms – one with an en-suite shower room – sit alongside a twin room with single beds and a gleaming family bathroom. On the second floor, a king-size bedroom is tucked beneath the sloping eaves of the roof, with skylights filling the room with natural light. This room boasts its own en-suite shower room for a refreshing rinse after wild walks.

Outside, an enclosed patio with seating provides a private area to take in the surroundings while you sip your morning coffee. Off-road parking for two cars makes arrivals and departures effortless, ensuring a hassle-free stay from arrival.
