A unique Scottish retreat, newly refurbished for 2026, this exceptional property offers the opportunity to stay inside a historic building that dates back to 1847. Situated in Dunning, 9.5 miles from Perth, the three-bedroom cottage sleeps six guests and offers an abundance of beautiful features, including high ceilings and arched windows. Hike through the Pitcairns Glen or into the beautiful Ochil Hills to take in the panoramic views. Plan a day trip to picturesque Loch Leven, 13 miles away, or out into the Lomond Hills Regional Park, 17 miles away. Keen golfers will not want to miss the opportunity to play a round or two at the world-famous Gleneagles, just 10 miles away, and Dunning itself has a golf club. Explore Perth, where you can shop, dine out and visit galleries and museums. See the historic Stone of Destiny, used in the coronations of Scottish monarchs until the 13th century, and visit Scone Palace.

Head back to your holiday haven after exploring bonnie Scotland and step into the impressive hall. Take your boots and outerwear off in the vestibule and head through to the wonderful, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Rest, recuperate and socialise in this splendid space. Head over to the bespoke kitchen to discover all you need to help you produce hearty Scottish feasts. Gather in the dining area for grand meals and special celebrations. There is also a handy utility room. A small flight of steps then takes you down to the spacious lounge area. Marvel at the high ceilings and arched windows here before you stroll over to the period inglenook fireplace to stoke up the wood burner on cooler evenings. Sink back into the comfortable sofas to watch a movie on the Smart TV. Choose a DVD, set up a board game or select one of the books left here for you to read. The stylish family bathroom, with its choice of a bath or shower, is the place to pamper yourself before heading off to bed. At bedtime, you are promised a restful night in either of the two king-size beds or the twin. One of the king-size bedrooms and the twin are downstairs; the other king, with the luxury of its own en-suite shower room, is on the floor above.

Soak up the Scottish sunshine on fresh summer days in the fully enclosed garden. Sit down to supper on the patio before whiling away the remainder of the evening in the games room, where you can play pool and darts. There’s even a Smart TV in here. The cottage comes with off-road parking for two cars.
