This characterful group getaway sits in the tranquil countryside along the borders of Yorkshire, Lancashire, and Cumbria. Sleeping ten guests, it is perfect for groups of walkers and outdoor enthusiasts because there are so many fabulous treks to enjoy. The charming village of Ingleton is just 1 mile away, where you can pick up the scenic Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is within easy reach, and it’s well worth visiting White Scar Cave (2.5 miles), Britain’s longest show cave. During a stay here, you’re well placed for exploring the gorgeous Forest of Bowland (5 miles) and venturing into the southern Lake District, which lies just 16 miles north-west of the property. Closer to home, the historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale promises a lovely day out and is just 6 miles away.

This wonderful barn conversion offers a tranquil retreat for larger groups of friends and family. It comprises two properties, linked by connecting doors, thereby offering plenty of space for everyone. The two double-height lounges feature comfy sofas, warming wood burners, Smart TVs and traditional features including exposed beams and stonework. The traditional charm continues in the large farmhouse kitchen, equipped for sociable evenings enjoying delicious meals. A second, light and bright kitchen, sits in the other part of the property. Returning to the main area, you’ll find a fabulous ground-floor double bedroom with an en-suite wet room. Six steps lead down to the lower level, where there is a bathroom and two bedrooms – a twin and a bunk room with full-size bunk beds. In the other part of the property, the ground floor offers a handy WC. Stairs lead from the lounge to a galleried landing. Up here, two bedrooms await: a double and a twin, both with impressive rural outlooks. A bathroom with shower over the bath completes the layout. 

Outside, the enclosed garden has a patio, which lends itself to al fresco dining and relaxing while taking in your peaceful surroundings. Ample parking is available.
