This charming property is nestled in the heart of the stunning Durham Dales, just a few miles from Wolsingham, a lovely picturesque village. The popular, historic city of Durham is only 12 miles away and offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, pubs and places to visit, including the world-famous cathedral. Also nearby are the North Pennines, which are ideal for walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers, with stunning landscapes, heather-covered moors and rugged peat lands. Remaining on the farm, you can see animals including cattle and sheep, or explore the farmland where you will find a nature trail, riverside paths, an ancient monument, playing field and even a medieval moat.

On entering this charming and traditional single-floor holiday cottage you will find yourself in a cosy and welcoming lounge. With exposed beams and original stone feature wall, this is a quaint but attractive room to relax in, complete with TV and stylish furnishings. Moving into the bright kitchen/diner, you will find a delightful dining area and a beautifully designed kitchen, fully equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. Exploring this lovely cottage further, you will find a comfy double bedroom and a bathroom complete with shower over the bath and WC.

Stepping outside, you can sit back in a private seating area. The farm shop and cafe are within walking distance, and you can also make use of the on-site games room which is shared with the other properties, which offers air hockey and table tennis. You are also invited to explore up to 100 acres of farmland. There are shared play facilities including a children’s paddock with sand pit, an indoor play corner and opportunities to ride on the tractors. There is also a shared utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Small cosy cottage which was immaculately presented . Tea coffee and milk provided with some tasty treats . First property where hand wash was provided in bathroom and kitchen ( we usually have to take our own ) . Lovely quiet site with stream alongside and plenty of walks . We visited with our dog and thankfully he had his walking boots on as it wRead moreas wet and muddy and didnt want him walking it into the property Hide

The cottage is very comfortable, hardly anything was missed. There was even a scale, something we have never seen in all our years we are renting cottages. Durham, Darlington, and even Stockton are not too far away, whilst the Dales are at your doorstep. Regarding shopping, the Lidl and Aldi are not too far away (6 miles), whilst the Spar at the peRead moretrol station is pretty well stocked at acceptable prices. Hide

Lovely little cottage in a quiet courtyard with an little table and chairs to sit outside . There's a games room with a snooker table, ping pong and air hockey but its a little run down. Beautiful part of the country with lovely walks and a cafe with the most amazing cakes. Small Spar shop 5 mins drive away , which can be walked to but beware as noRead more pavements.
