The studio overlooked the lovely communal garden and was spacious and comfortable. Was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped. This is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at The Studio where we celebrated our 10 year anniversary! The grounds are kept clean, tidy and well maintained with flowers and trees throughout. The studio was very clean and well equipped, the added touches like the cheese and crackers, biscuits and toiletries in the bathroom were a lovely gesture. The Read morehot tub was amazing to wind down in after touring Alnwick. We went to Alnwick castle and gardens and booked a mean in the tree house which is a must to do if you visit here! We enjoyed a trip to the zoo and the beach while here for our stay! One thing to mention which isnt clearly advertised, the shared gardens are within the studios decking/outside patio where the hot tub is, there is a childrens play area (as seen on the photos) from the photos this looks like it could be the gardens for the studio, we were lucky enough no one used the shared gardens while we were in the hot tub as if you wanted to sit and relax and other guests are in the garden / kids on the play area we would have felt a little uncomfortable sitting in the hot tub with people being able to see us. The shared BBQ which we intended to use and went to a farm shop to make a BBQ was however unusable, it was covered in mould and has seen better days. Another negative, we left the outside lights on one night and woke up to a text to say Hi you left the outside lights on which made us feel a little uneasy as if we were being watched, we would have noticed the lights on when we got up that morning and would have turned them off. I understand the costs in electricity etc just now but feel the text was not needed. On departure I was in the hot tub and got out at around 9:30am as we were all packed ready to go and went for a last dip in the morning for an hour, luckily I got out just as a man came to empty it! He then proceeded to walk around the gardens as we were getting our self sorted to leave. I understand turn around time but feel we shouldnt have had someone empty the hot tub and be around the gardens/ the windows while we got ourselves organised, considering check in isnt till 4pm, they had six hours to empty and get ready for more guests. Although a few negatives we did really enjoy our stay. Hide
