The communal space in this house is all upstairs and the stairs are steep although they have good handrails. We were a family of 5 adults and 1child and there was plenty of social space for us. Also we had plenty of crockery. 2 bedrooms are downstairs, 1 off the lounge. Downstairs ensuites are a bit tight for space & bedroom furniture is basic but Read morethe beds were all comfortable. Not much natural light in the downstairs bedrooms. Sitting out area is fine except it only has a view of the cowshed. Hide

As above on location. and easily accessed with good directions. A comfortable, well equipped home and well placed for inviting places to visit. Despite rain , we much enjoyed our trip to Lanercost and back via the Wall and the drive via Alston to Penrith.
