Situated in a small hamlet in the North York Moors, being approx. 8 miles North of Kirkbymoorside, there are 600 square miles of stunning, heather-coated countryside waiting to be discovered by foot or by car. Within the National Park, there are also plenty of picturesque market towns and villages with tearooms, cafes, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes. There's a variety of independent shops, pubs and restaurants to explore in the popular market towns of Helmsley and Pickering. Local attractions include Duncombe Park, Nunnington Hall and Castle Howard. You could also head to Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast, slightly further afield. Hutton le Hole, approximately 6 miles away, boasts gift shops, pubs, the Ryedale Museum and is ideal for walkers. Visit the Rosedale Valley, home of Rosedale Abbey and the renowned glass blowing factory.         

Step inside the spacious open-plan studio style living space and let the beauty surround you. The huge, high ceilings make the accommodation feel spacious and light, while the eclectic and elegant soft furnishings, accompanied by a few industrial-style touches, bring a mixture of  warm and cosy, with a hint of contemporary to the whole, unique space. The kitchen area provides everything you need to rustle up a special meal for a loved one such as electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. There is a dining table to enjoy a romantic dinner for two and you can relax and snuggle up on the comfortable sofa and chairs nestled around the warming wood burner and Smart TV. Get a good night’s rest in the ornate, antique double bed which benefits from the nearby bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC.

Outside, the enclosed garden overlooks the beautiful rolling countryside that surrounds you. There is a patio area with seating, perfect to sit and enjoy a chilled drink on a summer's evening with good company. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Our second visit to this property. We have stayed in a great number of holiday lets over the years. This is one of the most comfortable and well equiped properties we have ever used. Couple that with its location in beautiful Farndale, definitely one we will use again.

Well-equipped "cottage" in a lovely location. Secure garden allowed the dogs to roam without worry. Good local walks. A great week!

This holiday cottage was to a very high standard and the cleanliness was above and beyond we really enjoyed our stay here it had everything you could and would need to enjoy your stay . The views surrounding the whole of the cottage were absolutely stunning. This is a good base to get out and explore the National Park . Will definitely be back agaiRead moren and totally enjoyed our stay here. The staff in the little village store was very helpful and very friendly and carried some lovely food items . Hide

What an absolute delight. The property is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. The property is very clean and decorated with perfect taste. Everything you need for a stress-free holiday.
