The barn was very large spacious and well equipped. We particularly loved that each room had an en-suite. The location was great, good for exploring and close to central locations. The owner was close by which gives you a piece of mind as well. There were some areas that could do with a refresh but nothing that would spoil your stay. The Barn wasRead more well thought out and each room had a hairdryer. Would definitely come back should we want to visit the area again Hide

A great place for a family or friends gathering as 4 en-suite double/king bedrooms and a very good open-plan communal area - a great space for entertaining, opening out onto the enclosed garden. The location is good for local pubs and walks etc but the road is very busy, without a verge or path to walk on, making it feel unsafe to walk even to the Read morenearby pub (which was a great pub!) On arrival we could only describe this house as fabulous, but on closer inspection it wasn't as good as we expected. Lots of issues like the coffee machine and toaster didn't work, frying pans and baking trays needed replacing. The blinds were broken, there was a rip in the sofa cushions, some of the light bulbs didn't work, springs sticking throughRead more the mattresses (very poor quality), rusty toilet roll holders and blocked shower drainage. The house I'm sure could be lovely but it just needs a going over with replacement new for old items and a bit of paint here and there. Hide

This is a delightful barn, in an excellent location for exploring the area. Comfortable, we all enjoyed the space. It was very clean, bright, and welcoming. The beds are soft - that's personal preference really. Kitchen pretty well-equipped, you'll find most things you need. We had issues with heating the main space (radiators didn't come on for 3 Read moredays) and getting dishwasher working. Helen is responsive to messages, and personable. Hide

It was fine, but quite tired and in need of some investment. Good location and welcoming hosts.

Over all cottage was good, just a bit more attention to detail. I have said I would recommend it in the hope these things will be addressed.

A beautiful house to stay in and brilliant location. Decorated for Christmas which our children loved! We had a mix of adults and children stay and there was plenty nearby to do for all. Would love to return in summer and make the most of the outdoor kitchen space.
