Tredegar is a recently renovated detached house, all on one level, finished to a high standard and in a lovely coastal position near Dyffryn Ardudwy where there are two pubs, a newsagent, village store, cafe and railway station. Views from the rear are out across fields and sand dunes to the sea and vast sandy beach of Morfa Dyffryn, just a short walk to the beach. This is within the Snowdonia National Park, 5 miles to both Barmouth and Harlech.

The Cottage: is spacious and very well looked after, with a lot of attention to detail from the owners’. Gas central heating throughout. Tredegar is suitable for people with limited mobility as there are no steps.
Entrance: the pretty entrance hall has a cloakroom with WC and basin, and storage for outdoor clothing.
The Sitting Room: is a delightful bright and airy room with patio doors to the garden and great views. Good quality laminate flooring throughout. The lounge area has comfortable sofas, flame effect fire and a large flat screen TV/DVD with Sky Freeview, Xbox 1, iPod dock and BT Infinity broadband.
The Dining Room: has a dining table, six chairs and side cabinet. It can be separated from the sitting room, if preferred, by glazed double doors. Patio doors lead to the garden.
The Kitchen: the quality fitted kitchen is very well equipped with an electric double oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer. The separate utility room has a sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and access to the garden.
There are three bedrooms, all decorated and furnished to a high standard, all with small flatscreen TVs.
Bedroom 1: this master king size bedroom is nicely styled with a modern comfortable bed, views to the coast and a smart, compact, tiled en suite shower room with WC and Basin.
Bedroom 2: is a double bedroom, again nicely styled, at the front of the cottage, and with a good modern comfortable bed.
Bedroom 3: has an unusual configuration and is either a single or double room. (NOTE: this room can either be a single or has a good quality pull out bed which turns it into a twin or super king size with just enough room to get around the bed.) This room has been thoughtfully furnished to make the most of the available space.
Bathrooms: as well as the ensuite shower room and cloakroom, there is a family bathroom with a bath with shower over, WC and basin.
Exterior: to the rear is a spacious, enclosed lawned garden, backed by field and sand dunes, with a patio area with garden furniture and barbecue. Bike storage available. Plenty of private parking at the front.
Visit Harlech for the stunning castle, independent shops and cafes, sandy beach, golf, theatre, and leisure centre. The traditional seaside resort of Barmouth has a great beach, boat rides for fishing, interesting shops, cafes and restaurants, and most importantly, ice creams! The Mawddach Estuary trail is fantastic for walking and cycling with stunning views. There is a local Children’s Farm Park and Llanfair Slate Caverns to explore. Dyffryn Ardudwy is also backed by the wild mountain area of Rhinogydd offering great walking in this quieter area of Snowdonia. Portmeirion Italianate village is 20 miles away, Porthmadog for Welsh Highland Railway, 22 miles, and Blaenau Ffestiniog for ZipWorld Titan and Bounce Below underground trampolines, 20 miles.
