Hunmanby is a charming village perched on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, between the coastal resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough. It’s just a few miles drive from pretty seaside town of Filey and its miles of glorious beach and slow paced life-style. Picking up the pace a bit, you can take a visit to Scarborough for an abundance of activities for everyone, from donkey rides, arcades and waterparks to castles, museums and restaurants. Thrill seekers can head to Cayton Bay and ride the waves with the Surf school or head to Dalby Forest and “Go Ape”. A great base to explore the beauty and excitement of the Moors and Coastline of North Yorkshire.

From the side entrance, step into the spacious hallway with hanging space for your coats and room to kick off your boots before reaching the wonderful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area offers TV/DVD and a warming flame effect electric fire. Flowing seamlessly into the bright dining area in front of sliding patio doors looking out into the rear patio which lets the light flood in. The thoughtfully equipped kitchen area provides a great space to cook whilst entertaining the rest of your guests sat at the breakfast bar or dining table. With an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, you will have everything you need to assist with the evening meal, making it a joy to prepare. Back in the hallway, where you can access each bedroom, a king-size leading to a stylish en-suite shower and WC, 1 twin bedroom and 1 double bedroom. Each bedroom is beautifully furnished and has a TV to catch up on your favourite programmes. Also from the hallway you will find the bathroom with shower over the bath and WC.

On approach to the beautiful bungalow, the front offers plenty of off-road parking and a side gate at the end of the drive leads through into a south facing enclosed patio with seating to enjoy a BBQ together. From the patio, there is a separate converted outbuilding with a games room with table football and separate utility room with washing machine and storage for bikes.

It's our second year in Hunmanby staying at this owners property, last year was Fountayne road and this year at Havercroft. Both are in a fabulous location, excellent place to call home when you are away. Clean, comfortable a great to stay, have already recommended it to family and friends.

We were lucky to find this lovely and reasonably priced bungalow so close to Christmas. It was well presented, very clean, warm, and comfortable. Some Christmas decorations were thoughtfully offered and welcome. Our doggy and human visitors loved it, and so did we! It WAS a real home-from-home. Lovely property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Hunmanby Gap is a 6 minute drive and is a fantastic, unspoilt beach with plenty of sand and space. The house is in a good location to travel to lots of other places locally. The property was spotlessly clean. Tastefully decorated and furnished. All items needed for cooking/ eating were provided ( as was a dish washer ). We used the washing machine in the utility room and dried clothes on the outdoor clothes line. The rear outside space was paved / gravel and was totally enclosed. Outdoor chairs were provided plus a larRead morege table with parasol. All were of excellent quality. The property is a short drive from the village centre. A most enjoyable holiday location. Hide

We were very comfortable in this property, the neighbourhood felt safe and friendly - and quiet. The property itself is absolutely ideal for anyone wanting a home from home. It serves as a great place to visit the Yorkshire coast before returning to home comforts. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return!

Beautiful property. It has everything you could possibly need. Great location to visit the area. The owner couldnt do enough for us. She made sure the property was lovely and warm for my elderly parents that were on holiday with us.

A comfortable holiday cottage. Few mins drive to Humanby gap beach definitely worth a visit and dog friendly with cafe overlooking the beach. Around 20 mins to Bridlington and 25 mins to Scarborough. The animal and bird garden was a nice morning out. Bungalow relatively clean just some touch handles and kettle that were grubby.
