This inviting coastal retreat boasts a quiet, cul-de-sac setting in the seaside village of Mundesley. Sleeping four guests, it’s the perfect base for couples and small families looking to explore Norfolk’s beautiful coast and countryside. Mundesley is a Victorian resort with a wide, sandy beach and colourful beach huts. The village has a great range of independent shops and eateries, as well as traditional seaside attractions and a golf course with magnificent coastal views. The village is a great base for walkers, with easy access to trails such as the Paston Way and Norfolk Coast Path. Heading along the coast, you’ll soon reach Cromer (7.5 miles), famous for its end-of-the-pier variety show and excellent seafood restaurants. Further afield, enjoy a day trip to the elegant Georgian town of Holt (18 miles) or journey to the Norfolk Broads (10 miles) to explore the picturesque waterways and idyllic riverside villages.

The holiday home is accessed from a peaceful residential close via a private road. Inside, the property has a reverse-level layout, with a lobby on the ground floor and stairs leading to the main living area. The coastal bolthole has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished, with a whole host of home comforts to make you feel as relaxed as possible during your stay. On the ground floor, you’ll find two delightful bedrooms – a double and a king-size – with wooden furniture, plush linens, and cute accessories and artwork. The king-size bedroom has patio doors opening onto the garden and completing the ground floor is a family bathroom. Upstairs, discover a bright and inviting living space, with vibrant soft furnishings and artwork adorning the walls. To the rear is a kitchen/diner with everything needed to prepare hearty meals for the group, which you can enjoy together around the wooden dining table. There is a handy WC with wash basin just of the kitchen. From here, French doors open onto the lounge area, where you’ll find an array of comfortable seating arranged around a Smart TV. Spend time here, watching a movie or simply sitting back with a glass of wine and taking in the coastal scenery.

From the lounge, slide open the glass doors to your private balcony – the ideal spot for a sundowner at the end of a busy day. Back at ground level, you’ll also have an enclosed patio garden with outdoor furniture. A gate from the garden leads to a footpath that takes you directly to the beach. Private parking is available for two cars.

Beautiful property, amazing views which kept us captivated for long periods of time. Very peaceful area with lots of lovely walks around the village. We enjoyed the beach walks with the dogs and had some lovely food at the local takeaways and a great roast dinner at the Ship Inn. The property was well equipped with a lovely welcome pack and plenty Read moreof crockery and cutlery. There was a good information folder for the local areas and giving details of good places to visit and eat. We particularly enjoyed using the telescope to look out to sea as some days you couldnt see so much but it all became clearer through the telescope. We love Norfolk so may well return in the future due to the beautiful property, amazing views, accessibility to places to visit and to experience other places to eat. Hide
