We had a lovely break at The Forge. The cottage was very nice and had everything thing we needed. The Forge is in the back garden of the pub but was very quiet. We enjoyed a meal in the pub with 10% off food. Skendleby church was lovely too.

Well the forge is a really cosy place to stay. We had a fantastic week there. A couple of miner problems, which Adele and Sophie sorted very quickly. There are fantastic walks from the door, and the forge is in a good location to visit many places in Lincolnshire. Best of all the blacksmiths arms does fantastic food, we ate every night it was open Read more. Not forgetting all the staff who were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. Hide

Cottage compact, very clean, lovely location. Very easy to get all across Lincolnshire from here and having the pub next door, with great food, made a lovely short break.

Cannot recommend this property too highly for anybody wanting a quiet break in a beautiful part of the country. The property is superbly equipped adjacent to an excellent atmospheric village pub serving good food. It overlooks a field with a deserted medieval village visible as lumps and bumps in the ground and is a short walk to the village churchRead more. Nearest super market is in Spilsby only four miles away. Perfect for staying with a dog as the small garden is totally enclosed. Hide
