This cosy home provides guests with a fantastic blend of fun activities on the doorstep whilst being within close reach of a stunning array of vibrant coastal towns and historic fishing villages. Bude itself is becoming more and more popular with its choice of three golden sandy beaches. Add to this its local shops, cafes, and restaurants and it promises to provide something for everyone. Why not take a stroll, cycle, or morning run along the canal? There is even a lovely bakery to grab a breakfast pastry on the way back. The town is also conveniently located beside the A39, making it easy to explore both Devon and Cornwall. Visit some real South West treasures in The Milky Way Adventure Park (16 miles), the ruins of Tintagel Castle (19 miles), or the Eden Project (37 miles).

Upon entering this renovated home, you will be greeted with a light and airy interior throughout. Make your way through to the modern lounge equipped with a comfortable corner sofa, gas-fired stove, and a Smart TV upon which you can enjoy your favourite films and series on those cosy nights in. Making your way along the downstairs hallway, you will come through into the open-plan kitchen/diner. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric range cooker, induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher washer/dryer, and microwave, with the dining table also having ample space for all guests to sit together for breakfast, a nice evening meal, or perhaps a post-dinner board game. Making your way upstairs will bring you to the three bedrooms, all with blackout blinds for a lovely night's sleep, along with the family bathroom. The master bedroom contains a king-size bed with built-in wardrobes and Smart TV. The second bedroom contains a double bed, and the third and final bedroom is fitted with bunk beds and has a selection of children's books and games to enjoy. Completing the inside of this lovely home is the family bathroom, which contains the choice of a bath and shower, along with a WC.

This home features a private enclosed garden to the rear of the property, making it the perfect spot to relax on the outdoor seating or light up the BBQ with peace of mind that pets are roaming around safely. The home also features an outdoor shower hose with which to scrub off those sandy toes after a day at the beach. The private driveway contains space for two cars.

Fantastic cottage- was a real home from home and perfect to relax after long days out. Its in a great location and we really appreciated the thoughtful recommendations to make sure we got the most out of our time in bude as well as surrounding areas. Wed highly recommend Penwick Cottage and hope to return again in the future.

The cottage is perfect for exploring Bude. A short walk along the canal gets you to the centre and the beach. Even shorter walk to the brilliant Electric Bakery and Bank at Bude tapas restaurant. Very comfortable and well equipped and spotlessly clean too. We loved our week there and would definitely recommend the cottage.

Lovely house, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Nice size garden though we didnt really use it. Good location as not far from lovely canal walk into Bude which takes you straight to The Brendon Arms pub and tourist office. The River cafe and tapas restaurant are both a five min walk, so nice and close. The house is on quite a busy road going inRead moreto Bude, so Id be mindful of little ones when crossing the road. A wonderful property for me and my 2 teens. Smashing wee walk into the town and to the fantastic beach and impressive sea pool. House is well presented and well equipped. Such a lovely house, in a great location for some nice walks along the canal and to the beach. The house was really cosy and homely, and Lisa and Will were great hosts. It was a really nice touch to have some welcome treats for us and the dogs. We had a small issue during the week which was swiftly resolved and Lisa and Will provided some gifts forRead more any inconvenience. This was a lovely touch, not necessary but greatly appreciated.
