The closest town with all the amenities one could ask for is Launceston (6 miles) with its historic castle. Nearby attractions include the village of Tintagel and its stunning cliff edge castle, St Nectan’s Glen waterfalls, Trebarwith Strand Beach and Boscastle. Also within easy reach is the town of Bude with vast, sandy beaches plus the North Cornwall coastline along the South West Coast Path just a thirty minute drive away. For the adventurers among you, enjoy a day trip to Siblyback Lake or Colliford Lake and the Hidden Valley, all within 12 miles. For the walkers, explore Bodmin Moor and climb to the peak of Brown Willy, Cornwall's highest point, and enjoy the stunning views.

From the spacious porch, step inside this welcoming property, where you will feel at ease straight away.  This homely cottage uniquely offers two lounge areas, each with its own Smart TV for you to enjoy all your favourite films and TV shows; the main lounge, with exposed beams, provides a sociable living space where you can relax together on the comfortable corner sofa, while the snug is cosy and quiet, overlooking the garden - the double sofa bed in the snug also provides an alternative sleeping arrangement for guests. Head in to the kitchen/diner, where you'll find everything you’ll need to cook a meal for the family. The kitchen comprises an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, under counter fridge, microwave, coffee machine and washing machine. Once the feast is prepared, sit at the dining table with seating for four and plan your next adventure. Heading up the stairs and to the left you'll find the bedrooms in the eaves, with exposed beams and plenty of storage space. Both are king-size bedrooms (one of which can be made up as a twin 2ft 6” twin on request). The contemporary family bathroom has a shower over the bath, sink and WC.

Outside and to the rear of the cottage there is an enclosed and private garden which has a generous lawn for children to enjoy whilst you relax at the table to read a book or al fresco dine with the charcoal BBQ. To the front is a patio terrace with bistro seating, perfect for a morning coffee whilst listening to the birds sing. There is driveway parking for two cars.

We spent a lovely week at this characterful cottage which was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The owners were friendly and helpful, the village was charming and from the location there was access to dog friendly beaches and walks within 30 minutes drive. We would thoroughly recommend Burrow at the Warren.

The cottage was perfect and the owners had thought of everything that we might need during our stay. The cream tea was perfect when we arrived and the dogs loved their presents. It was the perfect place to stay to explore both Devon and Cornwall.
