Clockhouse stable 2 is on a very quiet spot in Manningtree laying in a beautiful wildisch garden on a hill. It is only 20 minutes walking from the railway station. We simply took a footpath through the green part of the outskirts of Mannigntree. Vacation began immediatly

Warm, comfortable stable conversion in quiet setting. Minimalist styling. Pretty well equipped, but missing some basics. Lovely shower. Lots of storage. This lovely little bolt hole is ideally located for visiting Essex and Suffolk. We have stayed here on many occasions but sad to say it needs more care and maintenance ..The underfloor heating in the living room was not functioning. There weee no spare pillows and one of the four mismatched dinner plates was badly chipped and therefore unhygienic. This is our third time staying here and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again. It's very quite and cosy and very clean. The owner is easily contactable should you need to call her. Living quite a few hours away, the location is perfect for catching up with friends and family in Essex and Suffolk. We made full use of the Train Station and had daRead moreys out in London and Norwich. It's about a 15 minute easy walk into town for pubs and restaurants. Hope to be back again! Hide

My dog and I had a wonderful stay. The cottage is gorgeous and comfy. The location is fabulous for dog friendly walks to Flatford Mill and Dedham.

A lovely property set in a delightful setting, an ideal retreat for two people, the bedroom had ample storage and was a nice size. The kitchen is tiny and lacks storage space for groceries.

Well located property, lots of attractions within a short drive. Lovely and quiet, when wanting to get away from the buzz of central Colchester. Perfect for a nice relaxing break.

A perfect getaway for 2 people and their dog in an idyllic position. There were regular visits from the Muntjac deer, squirrels and a warren of rabbits. Green Woodpeckers were also a common sight. The grounds are immaculately kept by the owners and their staff who were all very friendly.
