Take a trip over the river to Fowey on the passenger ferry and explore the shops and restaurants or take the small ferry to the village of Mevagissey. For the walkers, there are plenty of coastal paths to choose from and for the beach lovers, take your pick of the many close by beaches along the Cornish coast. For a fun day out there are a range of attractions worth a visit including, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project, Charlestown, one of the filming locations in the TV series Poldark and Hangloose Adventures.
Step inside to the sympathetically restored and welcoming sitting room with an abundance of charm. With exposed beams and a window seat to sit and watch the world go by, there’s plenty of character here. Enjoy the open fire on a cold winter night or watch your favourite series on the smart TV. From here, a stable door leads to the light and airy kitchen/diner, ideal place for socialising. Enjoy a lazy breakfast or evening meal at the dining table and plan your days ahead. The kitchen is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice box. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display car park at the top of the village.
