Centrally located, within easy reach of the A30, you will be perfectly placed to explore the area with something to see and do in every direction. The quaint old mining village of Lanner boasts a bakery, a fish and chip shop and a children's park, all in easy walking distance. Within a 9 mile radius you are spoiled for choice with the number of beaches, towns and villages waiting to be explored. Portreath (the closest at just over 5 miles), Perranporth and Gwithian/Hayle are all perfect for days at the beach, whilst the bustling cobbled streets of Truro City or Maritime Square and the harbour at Falmouth provide shopping, entertainment and some fantastic eateries. Alternatively stay close to home and explore the miles of old mineral lines including the old Tresavean mining trails, offering fabulous off-road walks and bike rides.

Stepping inside this stunning luxury property, which has been lovingly designed and built by the owners, you will be in a beautifully light and bright hallway leading through to the large, yet cosy lounge. Here comfortable reclining sofas sit in front of a Smart TV, DVD player and warming wood burner, with plenty of room for everyone.The bi-folding doors link this lovely room to the garden and enable you to enjoy the fresh air during warm weather. The next room is the bespoke, contemporary kitchen/diner with the 'wow' factor with plenty of attention to detail throughout. This area boasts a formal dining table, breakfast bar and French doors, which also lead out to the garden. Perfectly appointed, there is a great selection of appliances including an induction range oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, wine cooler, large American style fridge/freezer (with ice-maker) and a deluxe coffee machine. Off here is a separate utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and separate WC/cloakroom. Completing the offering on the ground floor is the first of the beautiful bedrooms, a spacious super king zip-and-link bedroom with a Smart TV and sofa. Heading up the stunning glass sided staircase and onto the first floor, you will then discover the rest of the luxurious sleeping accommodation. Three of the bedrooms boast an opulent super king-size bed (one of which is a zip-and-link bed which can be made into a twin on request), Smart TV and an en-suite shower and WC. The final room is a slightly smaller yet perfectly appointed double room with a Smart TV  and en suite shower room. Located next to this is the bathroom with a lovely free-standing bath, separate full body shower and WC.

Venturing outside, further highlights await in the form of a decked patio with gorgeous garden furniture and BBQ. Guests can enjoy the large well maintained enclosed garden with lawn, bespoke picnic lodge giving additional indoor social space and garden games including table tennis. New for 2026 is a lovely covered outdoor kitchen area for when the weather is not so kind - this includes a BBQ and Webber grill to rustle up a feast. Last, but by no means least, you have a Scandinavian sauna room and a hot tub (seating 7 people) located in a beautifully presented log cabin, all of which makes for the perfect relaxing holiday experience. Ample private off-road parking is available on the driveway directly outside.

Chy Lowen is an absolutely fantastic holiday property. It really feels like home and has everything you could possibly want and need. You will not regret booking this place for your holiday. Its in a great location. You can get to all areas of Cornwall very easily. The house is wonderful and has everything you need. Belinda and Colin give a great welcome and support throughout your visit. we definitely enjoyed ourselves The GRAY family.

What a stunning place, super clean, well appointed and very comfortable house. Location is centrally positioned to allow most of the tourist traps to be easily reachable by car. Belinda and Col who own the house were smashing hosts and answered any questions we had. Beautiful property, lots of room for everyone to relax. The plant, wine and card that the owners left to celebrate the 60th wedding anniversary was a lovely gesture. The hot tub was a hit and there were plenty of games to keep everyone happy.

Very nice house. When we arrived a wellcome package was pepared. A bit difficult to find the place but afterwards we could enjoy a phantastic holiday. The house himself is in a perfect condition. For sure worth to visit again.

Wow what can I say?! We have just returned from Chy Lowen and can't recommend it enough! The house is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and really is a home from home. The hosts Belinda and Col are fantastic, so friendly, attentive and helpful. The hot tub was amazing, and enjoyed by all as well as the beautiful garden and games. Great locatioRead moren too.
