This pretty property, located in a wing of the main house, enjoys a tranquil rural location, with a pub and shop just one mile away. The harbour town of Mevagissey is a fifteen-minute drive away and is a lovely place to while away an afternoon, wandering its narrow streets, watching the fishing boats come in and trying out one of the harbour-side restaurants. Truro is only a 10 minute drive where you can enjoy an abundance of shops and restaurants. Fowey, another well known harbour town is great for a day out. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are also very close by, as is the beautiful Georgian town of Charlestown, with its tall ships moored in the harbour, shipwreck museum, and sandy beach. Or why not take a day trip and explore what the North Cornish Coast has to offer.

This cottage-style annexe is a wonderful place to spend some time away from the stresses of everyday life. Entering the property up two shallow steps from the enclosed patio brings guests straight into the lounge/diner, with its comfortable seating, TV, and DVD, making this a lovely space in which to relax after a day exploring the local area. The separate kitchen, though compact, is contemporary and stylish and is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge, and microwave. The shower room with WC is also located on the ground floor. Stairs from the lounge/diner lead straight to the property’s bedroom: a relaxing double, with bedside tables and cupboard space.

Outside, the property benefits from its own pretty patio area, which provides space for alfresco dining or a quiet drink as the sun goes down. In addition to this area, guests are also able to enjoy the four acres of grounds belonging to the main house.

Cottage itself ideal for 2 people and bedroom very cosy and comfy. The kitchen and shower are fit for tiny people but would be a problem for larger guests.

Everything as described in the cottage details. Owners very helpful with information about the local area. It was the ideal base to explore Cornwall, although there was not a lot in St Austell to make you want to visit the town. Some lovely beaches within a short driving distance

Absolutely lovely little place to stay. Everything you could want is available. Such peace and quiet in a lovely tranquil setting. Unobtrusive owners next door who are there if you need them and a little welcome cream tea to start your stay off is such a lovely touch. Wish we were back!

Absolutely lovely cottage - clean and comfy. The cottage was near to main roads to be able to visit places. Nothing was any trouble for the owners if you needed to make contact with them. Would definately stay here again.
