Our third time visiting Trefrize and it was as perfect as always with the added blessing of beautiful weather. The cottage is beautiful, cosy and well away from the noise of busy roads. All you hear are the birds singing, sheep and cows and the stream gently trickling through the garden. It's wonderfully equipped, the outside shingled garden isRead more a sun trap and totally private. It's ideal for our rather nervous, noisy rescue dogs as there is very little for them to actually bark at !! The garden is secure except our little Rommie Daisy Dog who's life work is to find ways to escape. She does manage to squeeze her body through the smallest of gaps only visible to her little doggie eyes. Fortunately she doesn't go far and it's well away from busy roads and she turns up barking at the gate for us to welcome her home like the long lost prodigal daughter!! If the evenings are chilly there's a fully stocked burner with unlimited wood and coal and it warms the cottage through very quickly. We have already booked another visit here. For us it is really is the perfect place to escape with lovely walks from the cottage and the Moors nearby. It's spotlessly clean and the bed is so comfortable. We really cannot fault it. 5 stars all the way. Hide
