My family and I stayed in the Old Borough House for 5 nights and found the experience to be wonderful. The spacious property was located just a short walk to the lovely town of Tintagel where there was something for everyone. The property itself was well equipped and is surrounded by amazing views. The garden had plenty of seating and so did the inRead moreside of the property across multiple rooms. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. We found good opportunities for coastal walks nearby, some short and some long but all equally as pretty. The beams were low in some areas of the property but we found this added to its historical character. There were three toilets as well which was very useful for our party of 8. Hide

The property details do not include the fact that the door to the main bedroom is only five foot high and has steps to the landing. Accessing the bathroom at night is difficult and so we used one of the other bedrooms. Thankfully, it was just the two of us and so we had a choice.

This is a lovely, quirky, comfortably lived in house. Well equipped including hair dryers, dog bowls, anything you might need. Plenty of crockery and cutlery. Lovely small courtyard garden with a bit of grass for the dogs. We only took the car out twice to go further afield as the walking from the house was lovely. So close to the coast path. We had a wonderful stay at Old Borough House, it was so close to the beautiful coastal path, we kept popping out to see the sea and for walks. The house was very well equipped and there was easily room for 8.

Cottage was comfortable, well located for walking and access to coast path. Parking excellent speech of the cottage. We booked a cottage based in it having a log fire but no logs fire lighters or kindling available to get started.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, it was very comfortable and spacious. Good location, easy walk into Tintagel, there is a steep 15minute walk down to the cove which was beautiful, took longer getting back up!

Loved our stay, location perfect and as ancestors of sir Francis drake was nice to stay somewhere he onces stayed, love the quirky feel, would say a few wardrobes even if small needed in bedrooms and a lock or latch on bedroom door needed, also needs a deep clean ( table doors and skirtings) but would still stay again loved it, so many things to seRead moree and visit locally, protect Isaac, Boscastle, tw with strand , war musuem to name a few Hide

A great, quiet location with good space for our group of six plus one dog. Great off-road parking for our two cars and an easy walk into the amenities of Tintagel. Great local walks too. White bedding, white towels and bathrooms all very clean. The kitchen however felt grubby and the kettle, drawer handles and light switches needed wiping before usRead moree which was disappointing.
