Welcome to this inviting property, ideal for families seeking a restful base and an easy drive to adventures in the Lake District National Park. Set in the extensive Pullwood Bay Estate, guests can stroll or ride a bike to discover the beautiful grounds and natural woodland, home to wildlife, flora and fauna. Perfectly placed less than 3.5 miles from picturesque Hawkshead and Ambleside, you'll find plenty of galleries, shops and dining options to suit all the family. There are plenty of family-friendly walks nearby, including Rydal Cave, Loughrigg Fell, and the scenic lake walks at Tarn How, all within 5 miles. Brockhole on Windermere, 5 miles away, is the gateway to an adventure park and activities on and off the water. Alternatively, The World of Beatrix Potter and the nostalgic Haverthwaite Steam Railway are both less than 15 miles away.

Step into this charming cottage, set over two floors, and you will find a perfect blend of traditional farmhouse style, including exposed wooden ceiling beams, and all the contemporary comforts that ensure a memorable stay. The ground floor is largely open-plan and the heart of the home, where you can spend time socialising, relive a day of adventure, and plan the next day's activities. The bright dining area inside the well-lit courtyard entrance is ideal for meals and board games and benefits from plenty of natural light. Walk through to the welcoming seating area, where you can unwind, watch the TV, and enjoy the wood burner-effect gas fire. When it's time to eat, get cooking in the sleek kitchen, which has all the necessary appliances to make meal preparation a breeze. Head upstairs to find two delightful, comfortable bedrooms – one twin and one double, both with angled ceilings and plenty of space. A bathroom completes the interior of this attractive countryside property.

Step outside to enjoy the shared patio area to the rear, set within a quiet, open-plan courtyard with a picnic table provided. This is the ideal space to dine alfresco. The rest of the magnificent grounds are shared, including half a mile of private lake frontage (unfenced), perfect for enjoying a picnic at the water's edge whilst taking in the glorious views of Windermere and its surrounding fell range. The shallow bay is safe for taking a quick dip and paddleboarding. There is a private jetty available for those wishing to launch a dinghy, canoe or kayak (with prior arrangement).
