Known for its calm waters, sandy beach and spectacular sunsets across the Solent, Colwell Bay is perfect for relaxed coastal holidays. Just a short stroll from the beach house you’ll find popular beachfront restaurants including The Hut at Colwell Bay, along with scenic coastal paths. Yarmouth (3 miles) offers charming harbour views, boutique shops, cafés and excellent restaurants, while The Needles landmark (1.5 miles) and Alum Bay provide some of the island’s most iconic scenery. Fort Victoria Country Park (2.5 miles) is also nearby, offering woodland walks, sea views and a historic coastal fort. With beaches, restaurants and beautiful coastal landscapes all within easy reach, Colwell Bay is the perfect base for exploring the west of the Isle of Wight.

Step into a light-filled, thoughtfully designed interior with a relaxed beach-house feel throughout. The open-plan living space features a comfortable sofa bed, a cosy wood burner for evenings in during cooler months, and a Smart TV. The kitchen and dining area are well equipped for easy holiday living, whether that’s a simple breakfast before the beach or a relaxed dinner after a day exploring the island. Continue down the hall to find an inviting twin bedroom alongside a stylish shower room. At the end of the hallway, a spacious double bedroom boasts its own en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms offer a calm and restful space with comfortable beds, quality bedding and soft neutral tones inspired by the coast.

The deck features outdoor seating and an electric BBQ, creating a lovely space for outdoor living during warmer months as well as being able to take in the glorious, far-reaching sea views. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee, alfresco lunches or a glass of wine at sunset after a beach walk. The beach is just a short stroll from the property, making it easy to enjoy spontaneous swims, beach walks and sunset views over the Solent. Parking is available at the property for one car.

Weve just come back from a wonderful three night stay at The beach house. We were very impressed with the relaxing and modern interior. The kitchen was very well kitted out, tea, coffee pods, biscuits and Isle of Wight milk left in the fridge for us. The outside decking space with plenty of seating was fantastic and the views across Colwell bayRead more are stunning, we throughly enjoyed watching the sunsets. We were able to use the resorts indoor swimming pool and soft play which was ideal as we had two children with us. The beach house- a great little find, we look forward to returning. Hide
