From the village of Bodinnick (1.5 miles), the car ferry crosses over the river to the thriving resort of Fowey, with a pretty beach and a fantastic choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes. Other local attractions include Wheal Martyn Clay Works, Restormel Castle and Porfell Wildlife Park and Sanctuary, all within 16 miles.
