Set on a peaceful no-through private road in the sought-after hamlet of Osmington Mill, this welcoming property enjoys an elevated position close to the world-famous Jurassic Coast. Just moments from the South West Coast Path, it’s an ideal base for exploring some of England’s most iconic coastal scenery, including Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Ringstead Bay, all within 6 miles. The dramatic cliffs, sweeping bays and fossil-rich beaches make this area a paradise for walkers, nature lovers and those simply looking to unwind in spectacular surroundings. The property is conveniently located near the A353, offering excellent access to the wider area. Visit the farm shop or enjoy a meal at the cliffside pub at Osmington Mills, or head to the traditional seaside town of Weymouth (5 miles) with its sandy beach, historic harbour, shops, cafés and restaurants. And the county town of Dorchester is just 8 miles away.

Set within a generous third of an acre, this welcoming home offers space, comfort and a truly relaxing setting for your stay. As you arrive and park, the lovingly kept gardens create an immediate sense of calm. Step inside and you’ll find yourself in the inner hallway, thoughtfully arranged as a snug with a TV and Wii games console – a perfect little hideaway for both children and grown-ups. The well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor has everything you need for easy holiday meals, and the dining room at the rear overlooks the garden, making it a lovely spot for long breakfasts or cosy evening dinners. The living room is the heart of the house, where everyone can gather around the wood burner, settle into the sofas, and enjoy a film on the Smart TV. Also downstairs are two comfortable bedrooms – one double and one single – along with the main bathroom featuring a shower over the bath. A separate utility room adds extra practicality for longer stays. Upstairs, you’ll find two more bedrooms: a charming master king-size with a cleverly hidden balcony overlooking the garden, plus its own en-suite shower room, and a cosy single.

Outside, the large garden is perfect for morning coffee in the fresh air, sunset drinks, stargazing, or simply letting children play while you unwind. Parking for two cars is available on either side of the property; the access lane is narrow but suitable for medium to large vehicles.

Love this house! The back garden is lovely. The location is peaceful and secluded. The house is a good size and well-equipped. The two parking bays are tight to get into / out of, if you've got a large SUV like ours, but for most cars they're fine - so don't let this comment put you off.
