The spectacular Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, famed for its dramatic cliffs, unique rock formations, and sandy beaches 17 miles away, making it ideal for bracing coastal walks and classic seaside days out.
This charming single-storey cottage is perfect for couples, stepping inside the cottage features a welcoming open-plan living area with a fully fitted kitchen, making it easy to prepare relaxed meals during your stay. The sitting room is comfortably furnished with a sofa, armchair, dining table and chairs, and a Smart TV, an ideal space to unwind after a day out exploring. The bedroom offers a comfortable king-size bed, and the modern shower room with WC. For larger groups, Little Tree Cottage can be booked alongside neighbouring Cherry Tree Cottage, with an interconnecting door available when required (and discreetly locked when not in use). It’s a wonderful option for extended family or friends who want to holiday close together while still enjoying their own private space.
Outdoors, you can unwind on the patio with a drink in hand or wander around the surrounding farm grounds. For families and animal enthusiasts, there’s plenty to enjoy. Guests often have the chance to see animals such as donkeys, ducks, and goats and at certain times of year, special sessions with alpacas or Shetland ponies may also be available (additional fees may apply). The on-site riding centre provides a memorable way to explore the countryside, offering lessons, guided rides along country tracks, and ‘Own a Pony for a Day’ activities suitable for complete beginners through to experienced riders. Advance booking is required. There’s no shortage of fresh-air fun either. Guests can make use of a tennis court, enjoy traditional lawn games, or follow the footpaths directly from the farm for relaxed walks or longer rambles through the surrounding valley.
