Families are invited to create long-cherished memories in this delightful home-from-home on Cornwall’s immaculate south coast, a spacious retreat hosting up to six guests. The property sits atop a steep hill in the ancient fishing village of Polruan, less than half a mile from the beautiful local beach and the South West Coast Path, which stretches out in either direction. Make your way to the edge of the River Fowey (0.5 miles), where a passenger ferry runs across the water to the neighbouring harbour town of Fowey (0.5 miles via ferry, 4 miles by car). This picturesque destination offers plenty to admire, including scenic Readymoney Cove (1 mile), overlooked by the imposing St Catherine’s Castle. Also well worth a day trip is Looe (10 miles), another charming seaside village, home to a delightful selection of shops, pubs and restaurants lining the coast.

This detached holiday home is spacious and impressive from the moment you arrive. The whole family can step inside and spread out, enjoying ample room to socialise and unwind through slow mornings and peaceful evenings. Sink into comfort in the inviting lounge, where generous seating and a Smart TV set the scene for relaxed nights in. Things may become a little livelier next door in the well equipped kitchen/diner, particularly while meals are being prepared or board games are underway at the dining table. An additional TV here invites you to catch up on the day’s affairs over breakfast, while further TV can be found in the double bedroom on the first floor. The accommodation comprises two doubles and one twin, each spacious and welcoming. One of the double bedrooms benefits from an en-suite bathroom, while the remaining two bedrooms share a bright, contemporary family bathroom with views of Fowey estuary in the distance.

Outside, step into the morning sunshine in the private, paved patio. Enclosed and furnished with outdoor seating and a handy BBQ, this is a lovely space for alfresco dining and relaxation. Off-road parking for two cars completes the offering.
