Ecclesbourne Valley Railway is a local steam train attraction and Idridgehay has its own station which is just a walk away. Carsington Water (6 miles) is perfect for scenic strolls, cycling and wildlife watching. Matlock is around 7 miles away, with Matlock Bath at roughly 8 miles, home to the Heights of Abraham and dramatic gorge views. Ashbourne sits 9 miles away, while Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, and the Monsal Trail are all within 14 miles. With public footpaths leading directly from the property, this inviting home beckons couples, solo travellers, and keen walkers alike for a memorable stay in Derbyshire.
