Offering relaxing accommodation for two guests, this stylish single-storey bolthole makes a fantastic hideaway for couples enjoying a quiet retreat in an unforgettable part of the Welsh countryside. The property lies in a rural spot close to the northern coast of the Gower Peninsula, with a wealth of spellbinding walking trails to follow. To the north, the villages of Crofty (2 miles) and Pen-clawdd (3 miles) have some great places to eat and drink, including the Gower Brewery. Heading west and south, the peninsula is home to Weobley Castle, King Arthur's Stone Dolmen, Pennard Castle and the Gower Heritage Centre, all within 8 miles. The area has a choice of gorgeous beaches, including Rhossili Bay and Oxwich Bay Beach (both within 12 miles), with the resort of Mumbles to the south-east (11 miles). Swansea (10.5 miles) has a range of pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Penyfro Retreat is absolutely stunning, modern, spacious and in a very peaceful area in the countryside. It's decor is fantastic and cosy with beautiful patio. Equipped with everything we needed. Immaculately clean. Hosts lovely and friendly , very helpful. Would definitely recommend and return. Karen Cato
