Further afield, treat yourself to a little high-end retail therapy in Harrogate (11.5 miles), followed by a gentle stroll through the beautiful RHS Garden Harlow Carr.

From your private parking area (there’s room for two cars), step inside your lovely cottage, and you’ll be welcomed by an inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. Very nicely presented cottage with good equipment. the high bar stools for dining may not be to everyone's taste. Very comfortable bed; shower room a little cramped. A grab rail in the shower cubicle would help elderly guests. Good cooker, easy to use. Door gives on to a working yard specialising in horses

A beautiful place to stay for couples and dog walkers! There are some lovely walks right on your door and you can get to town easily for a morning coffee. We stayed with our newborn and it was lovely and secluded, would happily stay again!

Lovely little cottage in a peaceful and secluded part of Otley. The cottage has everything you need for a well equipped and comfy stay and Karen and Paul are easily on hand if you need anything too. 10/10 recommend.

It was good for a couple and a dog. We were the first occupants with a few teething problems which Paul and Karen tried to sort out for us ie heating and hot water. Once a plumber has sorted this it will be good for the future occupants
