Families, friends, and your dog can enjoy a holiday in this gorgeous Victorian townhouse, with a games room and a cinema room. Tywyn is known for its long sandy beach and promenade, offering a relaxed pace of life and a wealth of eateries. Visit one of the UK's oldest cinemas in the town and take a trip on the historic Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway with its scenic routes. The mainline railway station has links north to Barmouth, Harlech and Pwllheli, and south to Aberdyfi and Machynlleth, where you will find MOMA Wales, a centre for Welsh arts and crafts. For the thrill seekers, the renowned Dyfi Bike Park is just a few miles from the town. Alternatively, cycle or drive along the coastal road (3.5 miles) to Aberdyfi, with its harbour, shops and selection of eateries.

Step inside this five-storey terraced Victorian house, bursting with period features, and start exploring. On the ground floor, you will find the well-equipped kitchen/diner and lounge. If eating in, the kitchen is a sociable space. The dining table is the perfect setting to gather and savour your home-cooked family meal. After dinner, relax on the sofas and watch your favourite programmes on the Smart TV, or head down to the basement where there are sofas arranged around another Smart TV, and a multi-games table, which includes pool, air hockey and table football. There is also a shower room in the basement for convenience and a separate WC on the first-floor half landing. Or head up to the top floor via steep steps, and you’ll find the cinema room with seating and a projector screen to relax with a film. When you’re ready to retire, choose from five bedrooms which are spread over three floors – all designed with a good night’s sleep in mind. On the first floor, choose from the king-size bedroom with a wash basin and an ornamental fireplace, and the lovely twin. There is also a stylish bathroom with a bath and shower on this floor. You will then find a half landing, which is home to a library with mountain views, and a coffee station with a fridge. Continue to another king-size bedroom, which has an additional single bed, and a twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a super-king size on request at the time of booking). There is another bathroom on this floor with a bath and a separate shower. Up the next staircase, you will find the cosy double bedroom.

There is a small garden with established hedges at the front of the house, with a bench for morning coffee. The enclosed back garden is a lovely space for al fresco dining, with a table and chairs, and a gas BBQ to make the most of the weather. There is rear access to the garden, perfect for cyclists bringing their bikes, which can be left in the garden. You will find roadside parking nearby.
